Muntons invest £2.5m in SAP S/4HANA
Muntons, the Stowmarket based maltster and malted ingredient company, today officially launched the start of project ‘Chrysalis’ a £2.5 million investment in SAPs new S/4HANA Enterprise management software.
Working in partnership with Edenhouse Solutions, the new Enterprise Management tool will be built over the course of the next nine months ready for switchover early next year.
Once enabled, the new software will bring a new dimension to the provision of management information, helping Muntons to focus clearly on key areas and will provide a strong platform to develop and grow the business.
Alan Ridealgh, Muntons Managing Director, introduced the project to the Muntons staff at the launch event and commented: “The implementation of this new system is being carefully managed and with the help of our staff will bring significant improvements to our business.”

Daren Carpenter, head of information technology and Muntons project sponsor gave an animated overview of the selection process, the project team and the process of implementation, stressing the business benefits.
The system selected by Muntons is the latest SAP S/4HANA, the next-generation business suite designed to help companies run simply in the digital economy.
