Torrax
Torrax is produced to meet an increased demand for natural flavour and colour. It offers a range of multifunctional malt extracts which add a natural and healthy image to a wide range of food products.

All Torrax products are virtually 100% soluble in water and are resilient to freeze-thaw, boiling and extremes (3-10) of pH, which makes them ideal for use in thermally processed products such as canned soup, meat and stews, acid products such as pickles and vinegars, dry mixes and in beverages such as beer, colas and spirits.

Torrax gives a strong roasted malt flavour and thickness for improved mouth feel to products such as soups and drinks, and it improves shelf life of dark baked goods as well as promoting a good crumb colour in dark/wholemeal breads.

It gives improved flavour, aroma and mouth feel to soft drinks and beers. They can be used for the post fermentation characterisation of beer, where further declaration may not be required.

Torrax are available in liquid and dried versions.
