The
development and expansion of our eleven hectare Flamborough site near Bridlington
during the 1990s has provided us with one of the most modern and efficient maltings
in Europe.
Built to the highest standards
of hygiene and using modern microprocessor control, the 150 tonne and 200
tonne circular stainless steel vessels produce 92,000 tpa of indirectly
fired kilned malt per annum. Distilling,
brewing and food malts for domestic and export markets are produced at Flamborough
Maltings.
Much
of the barley is sourced locally from the Yorkshire Wolds and from the Vale of
York. Bridlington
is situated close to the major ports of Hull and Immingham.
