Muntons’ Asia Pacific Sales Conference this year was held at The Westin Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during July 3rd- 6th, 2013. The conference is held in a different location within the Asia Pacific region each year, the previous year the conference was held in Thailand.
The three day conference is designed to bring together Muntons channel partners and the Muntons team to share sales and application knowledge and experiences from the past year. It is also a great opportunity for informal networking to build better working relationships; a great asset within any business environment.
The conference was, as always, well-structured to maximize everyone’s time together. Muntons presented a number of subjects including improving sales activity, new product applications, the malt market, anti-bribery and customer services. Channel partners also made a number of fascinating presentations outlining opportunities within their local markets. During the course of the conference awards were presented during a formal ceremony, covering areas such as ‘the most profitable distributor’, ‘best distributor’ and ‘best sales manager’.
The conference was attended by over twenty of Muntons agents and distributors from throughout the Asia Pacific region and was presided over by Muntons local Sales Manager Jonathan Lau; also accompanied by Muntons Managing Director Alan Ridealgh, Muntons Ingredients Sales and Marketing Director Neil Pearmain and Muntons General Manager Phil Bamford.
